Whats involved
You can book your service or repair online 24/7.
To book online please click the link below that will take you to our live booking calendar. Please note that the date and time you select are preferred only. All efforts will be made to accomodate your request, but if we cannot meet your preferred date and time we will contact you to find another suitable booking time.
1. Select your service.
When you are directed to the online booking schedule you can select the service you require. This is broken down into:
Air-Conditioner Repair – This is for repairs to refrigerated ducted systems, split systems and cassette systems.
Air-Conditioner Service – This is for general servicing of refrigerated ducted systems, split systems and cassette systems.
Evaporative Repair – This is for repairs to your evaporative (swampy) roof mounted evaporative cooler.
Evaporative Service – This is for general service of your evaporative (swampy) roof mounted cooler.
2. Select your preferred date and time.
You can select your preferred date and time online. The scheduler is live and offers our current free booking slots. Please note that sometimes due to delays your preferred date or time may not be possible. We will contact you if this is an issue and organise this for you at the next earliest convenient time.
3. Pay the deposit to confirm your appointment.
We do require a $55 inc GST deposit to hold the booking. All deposits a deducted from you invoice on the day. Please understand that your booking deposit is non-refundable. If you book online you are booking a fixed time with one of our technicians. If you do not agree to the booking terms please contact the office and make a booking over the phone.Â
3. What happens next?
You will receive an SMS the day before your booking with a reminder. You will need to respond to the SMS with either (Y) to confirm the booking, (N) to cancel* or (R) to reschedule. You will also receive a phone call on the day when we are attending. We ask that the phone call is answered so we can confirm you are available. We do not attend bookings if we cannot confirm the contact person is available on the phone. We will make 3 attempts to contact on the day. If the calls go unanswered, we may not attend.
- Jobs cancelled after the confirmation SMS has been sent, will void any booking deposits paid.
Split System & Cassette System Servicing
Annual Servicing
- Strip indoor unit and clean covers
- Apply anti-bacterial foam cleaner to indoor coil
- Pressure clean indoor unit and fan assembly
- Clean and sanitise filters
- Foaming coil clean of outdoor unit coils
- Removal of fan covers and clean
- Lubricate fan bearings
- General wipe down
- Perform temperature testing
- If outdoor unit is above 1.8M + $99
Ducted System Servicing
Annual Servicing
- Clean and sanitise filters
- Vacuum and clean return are assembly
- Foaming coil clean of outdoor unit coils
- Removal of fan covers and clean
- Lubricate fan bearings
- General wipe down
- Perform temperature testing
- Check ducting for rodent damage
- Check ducting hasn’t disconnected
- Check zone motors are opening and closing
- If outdoor unit is above 1.8M + $120
Terms and conditions:
Pricing is for single storey brick and tile / tin homes only.
Things to consider that can increase pricing:
- Metal frame roof
- Outdoor units not ground level (roof or wall mounted)
- Steep pitch roof
- Units not accessible for our cleaning equipment, if units are high, are installed in hard to access locations, are above furniture or cabinets. Units above furniture or cabinets may have a service refused.
- Not easily accessible roof spaces
- 2 Storey or commercial properties
- Total Air reserves the right to cancel and refund a booking they deem out of scope or out of our service area.
- If we attend site and cannot perform the work e.g. no ones home, cannot access the property, customer not contactable, then there will be a travel and attendance charge payable of $99.00. This covers the cost to send a technician to your property.
Deposit T&C’s:
Unfortunately, due to customers calling around and booking multiple companies during summer and not advising us prior to their booking, we have made it a requirement that all bookings either via the booking system or via phone are confirmed with a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable if the job is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking, if no one is home or available on the day we are attending or if the work is completed by another company and we are not advised at least 24 hours before your booking appointment. If you need to reschedule your appointment please let us know prior to the booking date. Deposits are refundable if the booking is cancelled prior to 24 hours before the booking time slot. Refunds are minus the 1.8% credit card surcharge.Â

For service or repairs outside of these areas may include a travel surcharge. The office will advise when making the booking.
